Perrigrin's Home
Page
Hi my name is Perrigrin and I am a cat. I live with my "parents" John and Margot on a lovely little farm in the far South East corner of Australia. I have asked them to construct this home page for me as I have always wanted to be on the net. We live in a large house and the picture below shows my parents and their house. Aren't they the best friends you could ever have I am just so lucky. My story is amazing really. When I was very small my real mother abandoned me and I was left sitting on a fence post where my new "parents" found me and took me home to their place.
That was some six years ago and I have lived happily here ever since. If you look very hard you will see me hiding in the bushes. That is where I love to sleep on the really hot days we have in the Australian summer.
I am very lucky to have my own door into the house. John built it for me a few years ago. At first I was very reluctant to use it but now I love it and use it to come inside and go out again many times during the day and night.
John and Margot at Tyrone Farm
As well as me at Tyrone Farm there are also 6 cows and 6 chickens. The cows provide Margot and John with their meat and the chickens their eggs (when they lay) which these days is not all that often. They are really very naughty. My main job on the farm is to keep an eye on the little mice that sometimes come to our farm.

John and Margot also have heaps of fruit trees which are great in the summer. As well as eating the fresh fruit they preserve it by putting the fruit into bottles and cooking them. When they are doing this I try not to be around as they sometimes get themselves into a great big mess.
There is a saying that dogs have owners and cats have staff, you can see that Margot and John are my staff and that is the way I like it.
We all have a terrific time at Tyrone Farm if you would like to share some of this with us please drop us an E-mail we would love to hear from you.
Best wishes to you all from Perrigrin and staff at Tyrone Farm
